AimControllers Warranty Plans Terms And Conditions
AimControllers LLC offers two distinct warranty plans for its gaming controller products, each providing varying levels of coverage and protection. This legal brief aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the terms and conditions of these warranty plans specifically for AimControllers’ customers, ensuring clarity and transparency regarding the rights and obli-gations thereof.
§ 1 Warranty Plans Overview
AimControllers LLC provides its customers with the following warranty plans:
a) Accidental Insurance (AimSurance) 36 months – priced at USD 69, this Plan in-cludes Hall Effect coverage and extends to cover accidental damages, providing a gift card with a coupon code equivalent to the original product value for replacement purposes. The Plan covers the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox control-lers.
b) Accidental Insurance (AimSurance) Lifetime – priced at USD 79, this Plan also in-cludes Hall Effect coverage and offers lifetime protection against accidental damag-es, providing a replacement gift card in case of damage. The Plan covers the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox controllers.
§ 2 Warranty Plan Coverage Details
The aforementioned warranty plans cover the following equipment and damages:
a) Accidental Damage Insurance (AimSurance) for a 36-month period and Acci-dental Damage Insurance (AimSurance) for a lifetime period for analog problems apply to PS5, PS4, and Xbox controllers, and cover any accidental damage issues, in-cluding damage caused by accidental water spillage, dropping, smashing and/or mis-use.
§ 3 Warranty Claim Process
Customers must contact AimControllers support via email: [email protected] to initiate a claim. Upon eligibility confirmation, the controller shall be returned to AimControllers.
For Accidental Damage Insurance (AimSurance) for a 36-month period and Accidental Damage Insurance (AimSurance) for a lifetime period – customers shall follow an email claim process. Customers must contact AimControllers support via email: [email protected] to initiate a claim. Upon eligibility confirmation, the customer receives a gift card equiva-lent to the original product value, and the returned product becomes the property of AimControllers.
If an AimControllers representative determines that the customer is eligible to exercise their warranty claims plan, the claims process shall proceed as follows:
1. The customer shall return the controller to the Aim location indicated during the email complaint process (AimControllers LLC, 233 Research Dr, Unit 9, Milford, CT 06460, United States)
2. Upon receipt of the controller, the customer shall be sent a gift card with a coupon code for the amount of the original order (excluding shipping costs and the cost of the purchased plan – the product itself). A customer may opt to purchase a new plan.
3. The returned product will not be returned to the customer and may be used according to AimControllers’ preference.
§ 4 Shipping Costs
1. AimControllers covers shipping costs for the first 90 days after the purchase, according to the following conditions:
a. For controllers shipped from the U.S. – if a controller is shipped from the U.S. within the first 90 days of purchase AimControllers agrees to provide a return label, or if a label cannot be provided, refunds up to $15 upon presentation of a shipping receipt and only when shipping with the Ground Shipping option.
b. For controllers shipped from Canada and Australia – when it comes to shipments from Canada and Australia, AimControllers shall reimburse up to $25 upon presenta-tion of a shipping receipt and only when shipping with the Ground Shipping option.
c. For controllers shipping from other countries – the value of the shipping reim-bursement shall be assessed based on current shipping rates.
§ 5 Amendment of Plans
All customers shall reserve the right to supplement any of the plans after placing an order. Each plan may be added even after the order has been placed, however, before the order sta-tus changes to “Completed” after prior contact with support via the following address: [email protected].
